Early access privacy notice
Last updated October 14, 2026
This notice covers the Kodo early access list on this website. GetKodo, Inc. ("Kodo", "we") runs it. It is short because we collect very little.
What we collect
Your email, your optional fandom pick, which link or form you signed up from, and whether you chose updates. You also confirm you're 18 or older; we check this when you sign up but don't store it. We don't ask for your name, birthday or location, and there is no Kodo account sign-up on this site.
How we use it
- To confirm your sign-up and tell you when Kodo early access opens.
- Only if you tick the updates box: occasional Kodo news. You can switch this off anytime.
We never sell your data, including your email and fandom choice, and we don't share it with advertisers.
Why we're allowed to use it
We use your details because you asked to join and confirmed your email (your consent). You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.
Where it is stored
Your email, fandom pick, sign-up source and updates choice are stored with Mailchimp (Intuit), our email provider, which processes them on our behalf in the United States. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes basic request data such as IP addresses to serve and protect the site. If you're outside the US, your data is transferred to the US under our providers' standard safeguards.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and no longer than 24 months after Kodo launches.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@getkodo.one. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Age
You must be 18 or older to join. If you're under 18, please don't sign up; if you already have, email us and we'll delete your details. We don't knowingly collect any information from children under 13, and if we learn we have, we delete it.
Unsubscribe and deletion
Every email has an unsubscribe link. To have your details deleted entirely, email hello@getkodo.one.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update the date above. When Kodo launches its product, a full privacy policy will cover the product itself.
